# Hunton Group is seeking to hire a Financial Administrator for our Hunton Trane division. The Financial Administrator will play a critical role in supporting the financial performance of our Industrial business by providing accurate financial reporting, job cost analysis, forecasting, and project financial oversight. This position partners closely with project managers, operations, and leadership to ensure financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle, with a strong focus on construction and industrial projects, percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate is an analytical finance professional with extensive experience in the construction or industrial industry who thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

## Responsibilities
- Support the financial performance of the Industrial Division through forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, and project financial analysis.
- Manage and analyze job costing to ensure accurate project financial performance and profitability.
- Prepare and maintain percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition reporting in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Monitor project costs, revenue, margin erosion, and profitability, providing timely recommendations to management.
- Partner with Project Managers and Operations teams to review project financial health, forecasts, and cost projections.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, project billings, and financial reconciliations.
- Develop and present financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and company policies while maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Identify financial risks, cost variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Leverage Excel, Power BI, and other reporting tools to analyze financial data and improve reporting efficiency.

## Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of financial analysis, project accounting, or financial planning experience, preferably supporting construction, industrial, or EPC projects.
- Strong experience with job costing, project financial management, and POC revenue recognition.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI experience preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and translate findings into actionable business insights.
- Understanding of construction accounting practices, lien waivers, insurance requirements, and project financial controls is also preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, operations, and project management teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and compliance.
