In this role, you’ll install, program, diagnose, and repair environmental comfort systems using your expertise in HVAC controls, air conditioning theory, and modern control technologies.

### **What You’ll Do**

  • Install and configure BAS controllers, sensors, and components per design specifications.
  • Commission BAS systems and ensure seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
  • Calibrate and test system devices such as actuators, temperature sensors, and dampers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to keep BAS systems operating at peak performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions, network issues, and control logic problems.
  • Analyze system alarms and data logs to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Perform firmware/software updates and system upgrades when required.
  • Provide technical support and hands-on training to clients on BAS operation and interface usage.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service records, repair logs, and performance reports.
  • Assist in developing training materials and operation manuals for end users.
  • Follow all safety procedures and ensure work complies with OSHA regulations, company policies, and local codes.

## Qualifications
### **What You’ll Bring**

  • Associate’s degree in HVAC, Building Automation, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in building automation systems, HVAC controls, or a related discipline.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Hands-on experience with DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems—installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical principles, and control logic.
  • Familiarity with major BAS platforms such as Tridium, Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or Schneider Electric.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
  • Low-voltage electrical experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction.

### **Certifications (Preferred)**

  • Manufacturer-specific BAS certifications (e.g., Tridium, Siemens, Honeywell).
  • Certifications in HVAC, electrical, or IT-related fields are a plus.

### **Additional Requirements**

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites throughout the region.
  • Willingness and ability to work in varying environments, including rooftops, plant rooms, and confined spaces.
  • Availability for occasional on-call or emergency service support.
  • Ability to lift equipment and tools as needed.
