**Responsibilities**
- Reviews project proposals to determine goals, time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing projects, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources.
- Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources.
- Formulates and defines technical scope and objectives of project.
- Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
- Assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
- Review’s status reports and modifies schedules and plans as required.
- Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues.
- Coordinates and responds to requests for changes from original specifications.
- Manages project documentation and correspondence.
- Manages the project's development and oversee all project activities, coordination, schedules, scope of work, installation, plans and specifications (if applicable), deadlines, and verification.
- Generate customer billings and approve supplier invoices for assigned projects.
- Follow safety standards to the highest degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
- Assist with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper coordination and cooperation for project completion.
- Provide feedback, track, and make a note of field change information for the project.
- Prepare monthly progress, financial, and other reports for assigned projects.
- Forecast monthly project invoicing and related costs.
- Prioritize, multitask, work well under pressure, work within a team atmosphere, and support other members of the team.
- Perform all business activities with integrity and at the highest ethical standards.
## Qualifications
**Qualifications**
- High level of reading, interpreting, and applying system design plans, as well as building construction drawings and documents.
- Must be able to differentiate types and colors of electrical wire.
- Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education) and user PC/software skill.
- Experience ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, ANSI, Federal Acquisition Regulation and other project-related rules and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent networking skills, business-minded, change orientated, and pro-active.
- Excellent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license with a safe driving record.
**Education and/or Experience Required**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management from a four-year college or university.
- 8-10 years of experience in project management and servicing fire safety equipment.
