They will have a good ability to troubleshoot problems, and provide analysis of machine capability. The Machine Test Engineer will bring a customer perspective to the test process. | | |

| **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.** |
| | | | | | | | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | | | | --- | | - Creates detailed test plans designed to cover both validation and verification of a new or modified G-code and machine features. Develops automated test scripts using the proprietary Haas scripting language. | | - Runs test parts designed to validate functionality of Haas machines. Verifies resulting part matches print. | | - Researches parameter and setting updates by running tests on machines using new software features. May also include interviewing Programmers, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Service, and Applications staff. | | - Researches and reports all anomalies in bug tracking software. | | - Releases standard and emergency software versions. Requires validating features and bug fixes in particular software releases, generating and verifying release notes, completing release checklists, and providing information to other departments. | | |
