This is done under supervision from the Software Engineering Supervisor. | | |

| **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.** |

| | | | | | | | | | | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | | | | --- | | - Creates detailed software test plans designed to cover both validation and verification of a new or modified software feature. | | - Develops automated software test scripts. | | - Researches and reports all software anomalies in bug tracking software. | | - Researches software issues and communicates them effectively to internal customers. | | - Releases standard and emergency software versions. | | - Researches parameter and setting updates by interviewing programmers, electrical and mechanical engineers, service, and applications staff, also by running tests on machines using new software features. | | - Creates test methods and test plans for testing of firmware. This may include the creation of new software test tools. | | - Presents ideas relating to software testing or other issues clearly, using Microsoft Office applications when appropriate. | | |
