PHARMACIST IN CHARGE

## Description

We are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to lead our Retail Pharmacy in San Angelo, Texas. The Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) is responsible for the overall management, operation, and regulatory compliance of the retail pharmacy and compounding laboratory. The PIC ensures the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescription medications while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and applicable USP standards. This role provides clinical leadership, oversees pharmacy staff, promotes exceptional patient care, and maintains the highest standards of quality assurance in both traditional retail and compounded prescription services.

## Qualifications

**Required**

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Eligible to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge under applicable state regulations.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of pharmacy experience, including retail pharmacy practice.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding.
• Current immunization certification (if applicable).

**Preferred**

• Previous experience serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge.
• Experience in specialty pharmacy or hormone replacement therapy compounding.
