## Description
**Summer Activity Camp: Sports Instructor (Magnolia Community Center)**
**Associated Recreation Council (ARC)**, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified **Activity Camp Instructor – Sports** to lead sports and activity camps for youth ages **6–12** at Magnolia.
#### **Council:** 150 – Magnolia **Hourly Wage:** $25.00–$27.50 **Status:** Part-time, Seasonal **Desired Start Date:** June 22, 2026
#### **Schedule**
- Monday – Friday
- Shifts available:
- 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- 9:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

#### **Summer Activity Camp: Sports Instructor Responsibilities:**
- Plan and lead safe, age-appropriate sports and recreational activities for youth ages 6–12
- Teach basic sport skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
- Set up and break down equipment and activity areas
- Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
- Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures
**Summer Activity Camp: Sports Instructor Qualifications:**
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience working with children ages 6–12 in a recreational or camp setting
- Experience leading sports or physical activity programs
- Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
