**Summer Activity Camp: Soccer** **Instructor (Ballard CC)**

**Associated Recreation Council (ARC)**, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a qualified **Soccer Camp Instructor** to lead youth futsal (indoor soccer) camps at **Ballard**.

Instructors will work with participants to enhance their skills on the field while emphasizing teamwork, skill development, and scrimmaging.

#### **Hourly Wage:** $25.00–$26.00**Status:** Part-time, Seasonal **Location** – Ballard Community Center

• Monday – Friday | 8:45am-4:15pm

#### **Summer Activity Camp: Soccer** **Instructor Responsibilities:**

• Instruct participants in fundamental soccer skills
• Lead drills, skill-building activities, and scrimmages
• Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
• Set up and break down equipment and activity areas
• Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
• Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures

**Summer Activity Camp: Soccer** **Instructor Qualifications:**

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience coaching or instructing soccer, or similar youth sports programs
• Experience working with children in a recreational or camp setting
• Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
