Physical Therapy Assistant

## Description
Perform treatments and provide exercise instruction and demonstration for Atchison Hospital patients receiving physical therapy as inpatients, outpatients, and Home Health/Hospice.
## Qualifications
**Education**

• High School or GED
• 2 year/Associate Degree
• BLS
• License/Certification
• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Kansas licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Twenty CEUs every 2 years to maintain licensure.

**Physical Requirements**

• Medium work-Exert up to 50lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
• Have clarity of vision: Mid (>20=-<20=)
• Stand for 1-2 hours per day
• Sit for 1 hour per day
• Walk for 7-8 hours per day
• Perform repetitive tasks/motions
• Distinguish colors
• Hear alarms/telephones/tape recorders/normal speaking voice
• Have good manual dexterity
• Have good eye/hand/foot coordination
