**Human Resources Coordinator**

**(Proprietary and Confidential Information)**

As we continue to grow across the Midwest, we are seeking a detailed oriented, organized, and collaborative Human Resources Coordinator to take ownership of key tasks that support the overall success of the Human Resources Department.

This position supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department within a precast/prestressed concrete manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in recruitment, benefits administration, employee support, and general HR functions. Additionally, the ideal candidate is capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred to support a diverse workforce.

**Job Responsibilities**

  1. **Recruiting & Onboarding**
  2. Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, and screening applicants
  3. Schedule interviews and coordinate communications with candidates and hiring managers
  4. Conduct reference checks and assist with preparing offer letters
  5. Support onboarding processes, including new hire paperwork and orientation coordination
  6. Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment records
  7. **Benefits Administration**
  8. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and changes
  9. Respond to employee questions regarding health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
  10. Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues
  11. Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with company policies
  12. **General HR Support**
  13. Maintain employee records and HR databases in compliance with legal requirements
  14. Assist with payroll preparation by providing relevant employee data
  15. Support HR projects, initiatives, and compliance reporting
  16. Help coordinate training sessions, safety programs, and employee engagement activities
  17. Prepare HR related documents, reports, and correspondence
  18. **Employee Relations & Communication**
  19. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and direct them appropriately
  20. Promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment

Assist with internal communications and HR policy updates
## Qualifications
**Education, Training and Experience**

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment

**Work Environment and Physical Requirements**

  • Office setting within a manufacturing environment
  • May require occasional time in plant areas to support workforce needs
  • Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Office setting with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs)
