RESIDENT DINING ASSISTANT

## Description
Provide residents with hydration and nutrition according to their prescribed diet. Maintain a clean and safe environment and perform job responsibilities in a safe manner.
**Essential Job Responsibilities:**

• Meal set up and meal preparation.
• Plating of meals according to the resident’s diet as ordered and menu selections.
• Break down and clean up after meals.
• Handwashing dishes or usage of dishwasher
• Housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Distribute ice, beverages, and/or snacks.
• Report any observations to the Charge Nurse and/or CNA.
• Respond in a calm, courteous, and cooperative manner to residents, staff, and visitors.
• Must have Long term care experience or dining experience in a health care environment.
• Embrace and model Covenant Woods business standards, Code of Conduct, and focus on the Promise in all aspects of delivery of service.

• **Shifts Available: Part-Time**
• **7-3p Thur,Friday/Tues,Wed and Every Other weekend**
• **4-8p Every Other Weekend**
• **Job Specifications:**

• Heimlich maneuver training required.

**Education and Experience:**

• Safe Serve Training Certification or willing to train within 6 months of hire
• Able to read and write in English and understand portion measurements.
