The **Redstone Admissions Coordinator** serves as a critical first point of contact for prospective patients, families, and referral sources. This role is responsible for managing the admissions process from initial inquiry through placement, ensuring a seamless, professional, and clinically appropriate intake experience. The Admissions Coordinator coordinates all aspects of admissions, including pre-screening, benefits verification, financial communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and appropriate placement. **Key Responsibilities**
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Conduct initial screenings to assess patient needs and determine appropriate level of care
- Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry through placement
- Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate financial responsibilities
- Accurately document all interactions and patient information within the EMR system
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, referral sources, and clinical teams
- Follow up on all pending admissions and maintain an active pipeline of prospective patients
- Support departmental goals related to admissions volume and conversion rates
## Qualifications
**Qualifications**
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or healthcare admissions preferred
- Strong understanding of patient engagement and behavioral health environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
