The **Redstone Admissions Coordinator** serves as a critical first point of contact for prospective patients, families, and referral sources. This role is responsible for managing the admissions process from initial inquiry through placement, ensuring a seamless, professional, and clinically appropriate intake experience. The Admissions Coordinator coordinates all aspects of admissions, including pre-screening, benefits verification, financial communication, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure timely and appropriate placement. This position requires strong clinical awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage high-volume, high-sensitivity interactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and web inquiries in a timely, professional manner
  • Conduct initial screenings to assess patient needs and determine appropriate level of care
  • Coordinate all aspects of the admissions process from inquiry through placement
  • Verify insurance benefits and clearly communicate financial responsibilities
  • Accurately document all interactions and patient information within the EMR system
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, referral sources, and clinical teams
  • Follow up on all pending admissions and maintain an active pipeline of prospective patients
  • Support departmental goals related to admissions volume and conversion rates

## Qualifications
**Qualifications**

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or healthcare admissions preferred
  • Strong understanding of patient engagement and behavioral health environments
