Nutritional Services Tech - PRN (1286)

## Description

• Primary responsibility will be to prepare and cook food
• Performs food delivery and service to the patients and café, takes care of all kitchen, dining, dish room needs
• Set-up, maintain, breakdown and clean up all areas
• Maintains a clean and sanitized work area including kitchen, café and dining
• Deliver patient meals and collect empty trays
• Unload delivery trucks
• Stock and rotate supplies
• Monitor all food temperatures to ensure they are in the correct range and replace as needed
• Monitors and cleans food service equipment
• Duties may also include cashier responsibilities
• Set-up and serve catered events as required

Physical Demands

• Involves constant standing, pulling of carts and equipment
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to endure heat
• Hours may be extended to meet the needs of the department

Shift

• Hours may vary anytime between 6:00am - 7:00pm
• PRN - As Needed

## Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• 2-3 years in a restaurant environment
• Must have the ability to read and write
• CPU experience is a plus.
