## Description

The Shift Manager at Methodist Rehabilitation Center is responsible for overseeing the nursing operations during their assigned shift. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care by effectively managing nursing personnel and resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for the overall nursing operations during the assigned shift.
• Predict and assess the needs of the nursing department to ensure smooth operations.
• Plan, communicate, and coordinate nursing activities to optimize patient care.
• Direct and evaluate the performance and efficiency of nursing personnel.
• Support efforts towards the delivery of quality patient care.
• Foster a collaborative environment by working with and through others to achieve departmental goals.

Shift

• Full-time
• 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

## Qualifications

• Current Mississippi RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable
• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) is desirable
• Minimum of one year of clinical work experience
• Demonstrated evidence of leadership in planning and organizing
• Experience working with and through others to achieve objectives
