**We’re looking for a reliable **Strapper Operator** to join our sawmill team. This essential role ensures that every bundle of lumber leaving our facility is tightly secured, organized, and ready for shipment. ### **Position Summary**

**The Strapper Operator is responsible for operating strapping machines to secure lumber bundles according to company and safety standards. This position ensures product stability, supports production flow, and helps maintain a clean, safe work environment.**

### **Key Responsibilities**

• **Operate automatic or manual strapping machines to secure lumber bundles**
• **Inspect bundles for proper alignment, size, and stability before strapping**
• **Adjust strap tension and placement to meet quality and safety standards**
• **Replace strapping materials and perform minor equipment maintenance**
• **Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues**
• **Assist with stacking, organizing, and staging finished product**
• **Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols**

## Qualifications
### **Qualifications**

• **Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or sawmill experience preferred**
• **Ability to operate strapping machinery efficiently and safely**
• **Strong attention to detail and quality**
• **Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues**
• **Ability to perform physical tasks: lifting, bending, standing for long periods**
• **Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious**
