As a **Split Shift Childcare Teacher**, you’ll help create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and thrive. From leading activities to building meaningful relationships, you’ll play an important role in shaping each child’s day.

Full and part-time opportunities available. Full-time role includes access to our benefits program and a free family membership to the Countryside YMCA. Part-time role includes a complimentary individual membership to the Countryside YMCA plus program discounts.

## **What You’ll Do**

• Help plan and lead **fun, developmentally appropriate activities** in a classroom setting
• Create a **safe, welcoming environment** for all children
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff
• Maintain **accurate attendance and child records**
• Follow YMCA policies, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services requirements, Step Up to Quality standards, and the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program guidelines
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations to ensure safety at all times
• Help maintain classroom supplies, equipment, and organization
• Model respect for others and YMCA property

## Qualifications
## **Qualifications**

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• Ability to pass a criminal background check

## **Physical Requirements**

• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend frequently, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Work in an environment where exposure to common illnesses may occur
