## Description
**General Overview:**
This position is accountable for working at all stations on the a la carte line.
**Key Areas of Responsibility:**
Food preparation

• Execute food and meal preparation at various stations on the a la carte line
• Know and ensure meats are always cooked at the proper temperatures
• Know or be able to find accurate ingredient information in order to address guest allergy concerns
• Ensure that all timing deadlines are met and food is served on schedule
• Ensure that quality and consistency of all food served meets company standards
• Plate of all meals, ensuring presentation standards are consistently met

Kitchen Maintenance

• Monitor food line inventories and find timely solutions to any problems that develop
• Execute daily cleaning list duties
• Ensure all resources are kept organized and used efficiently, with minimal waste
• Maintain the highest level of cleanliness throughout all food areas
• Ensure food safety and compliance with all health code regulations
• Execute opening and/or closing checklists

## Qualifications

• Formal training desirable
• Minimum of 3 years restaurant experience and 3 years as professional cook
• Must be creative with strong culinary aptitude
• Must be a self- starter and work effectively as part of a team, helping others if needed
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
• Adaptable, dependable and detail oriented
• Must display positive attitude in managing interactions with others inside and outside the company
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Working Conditions

The physical working conditions of this position include an environment where standing for extended periods of time is typical, as well as short periods of walking, bending and reaching. Cook must also be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically during each shift. Must be able to work Sundays during the golf season.
