## Description
**Job Purpose:**

  • The Estimator at ARROW TANK AND ENGINEERING COMPANY LLC is responsible for ensuring that all estimates comply with applicable codes such as ASME Section VIII and API 650/620. The role involves incorporating safety, quality, and regulatory considerations into all proposals, identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements, and participating in post-project reviews to refine estimating accuracy.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Analyze RFQs, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Validate design feasibility and scope to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Prepare formal quotations and bid packages for client review.
  • Track and update pricing databases to maintain accurate and current information.
  • Obtain current material pricing and lead times to ensure competitive and feasible bids.
  • Assess shop capacity, fabrication timelines, and labor availability to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure all estimates incorporate applicable codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate safety, quality, and regulatory considerations into proposals.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Participate in post-project reviews to enhance estimating accuracy and project outcomes.

## Qualifications
**Required Education:**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

**Required Experience:**

  • 3+ years of estimating experience in heavy fabrication, pressure vessels, or industrial manufacturing.

**Required Skills and Abilities:**

  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Compress, Nozzle Pro, Excel-based tools).
  • Strong understanding of welding, rolling, machining, and finishing processes.
  • Familiarity with ASME, API, and other relevant codes and standards.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
