**Overview of position:**

FEDITC is seeking a **Systems Administrator – Mid Level** to support operations at **Texarkana, TX**. This role involves managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems to ensure optimal performance and security. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing IT challenges within a mission-critical environment.

A **United States Citizenship** and **an active Secret DoD Security Clearance** is required to be considered for this position.

**Primary Responsibilities**

• Install, configure, and maintain system software and infrastructure in accordance with organizational standards.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain system security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and continuity.
• Manage user accounts and permissions within various operating systems and applications.
• Conduct system audits and generate reports to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaborate with network and application teams to support integrated solutions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, as necessary.

## Qualifications
**Preferred Qualifications**
**Experience:**

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Systems Administrator, with familiarity in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in system management tools, experience with virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

**Education:**

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education**.**

**Certifications:**

• CompTIA Security+
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server 2019

**Security Clearance:**

• **Active Secret clearance is required.**
• **Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.**
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
