Foster positive, meaningful interactions with children while remaining flexible and responsive to daily routines and changes and offering support where needed. Provide dependable, consistent support to teachers in creating a welcoming, safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that promotes each child’s growth and development. Maintain a clean, organized classroom and facility by following all health and sanitation guidelines. Assist with implementing curriculum and lesson plans to meet the required Head Start Performance Standards.

**Requirements**

• **High school diploma or GED**
• **Valid driver's license**
• Experience working with children ages 3 to 5 is preferred.
• Adequate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Comfortable using online platforms.

**Details**

• $17.00/hour
• 40 hours per week
• 9-month position from mid-August to mid-May. If interested, summer hours may be available through HIT, Inc.
• Children attend Head Start on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Wednesdays are used for classroom prep and staff training.
