**Position Summary**

Peachtree Catering & Events, the premier catering company of Greater Philadelphia, is seeking skilled and service-driven bartenders to join our team. Unlike restaurant or bar bartending, this role is focused on high-end events such as weddings, galas, and corporate gatherings, where professionalism, adaptability, and teamwork are key. Our bartenders provide exceptional hospitality to a diverse clientele, ensuring seamless beverage service while adhering to company gratuity policies.

This is a flexible, rewarding opportunity with competitive pay, potential gratuities, and merit-based bonuses. Most bartenders work 1-2 shifts per week, though those seeking more hours may work 4-6 shifts per week during peak season. Motivated team players will find excellent opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and efficiency in a high-volume, event-driven setting.
  • Engage with guests in a professional and hospitable manner, ensuring an elevated service experience.
  • Set up and break down bars, ensuring all necessary supplies, garnishes, and ingredients are stocked and organized.
  • Maintain bar cleanliness, follow sanitation protocols, and assist with venue-wide cleanup post-event.
  • Follow all company policies regarding gratuity and ensure proper handling of service charges.
  • Assist with truck loading/unloading and beverage inventory management as needed.
  • Adhere to alcohol service guidelines and RAMP certification standards to ensure responsible service.

## Qualifications

  • Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Candidates must possess fine dining knowledge and an innate sense of hospitality.
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • Reliable transportation is a big plus but not an absolute necessity if you can navigate SEPTA and/or rideshare.
  • Possess some, or all of the following qualities/qualifications: RAMP certification, wine expertise, bartending training, general food and beverage knowledge.
  • Open weekend availability is essential.
  • 2+ years of FOH experience working in banquets and events, preferably in both an on-premise and off-premise capacity.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and follow-up skills are required.
