Residential House Manager or Adult Day Training (ADT) Program Manager

Position Summary

The Support Associate provides compassionate, person-centered care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position assists individuals with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, choice, and community inclusion in a safe and supportive environment.

Support Associates play a vital role in helping each individual achieve their personal goals and maintain the highest possible quality of life.

## Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Rehabilitation, Human Services, or a related field; or
• Relevant work experience in one of the above fields (experience may substitute for education); or
• Successful completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to pass:
• Level II Background Screening (FDLE/FBI)
• Drug screening
• Valid Florida Driver License with an acceptable driving record (required for positions operating agency vehicles)
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to lift, transfer, push, and assist individuals weighing up to 35 pounds independently and more with assistance or adaptive equipment
• Ability to safely push occupied wheelchairs and perform frequent physical activities throughout the workday
