| **Position Purpose** | - **Teach various courses in the Sport and Exercise Science** - **Assign grades for courses as necessary** - **Complete course assessment documentation as necessary** |

| **Knowledge, Skills And Abilities** | - **Willingness to learn the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid, and/or distance learning (online) courses** - **Knowledge and skills with software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint** |

| **Experience** | - **Demonstrated teaching experience** - **Minimum of one year experience teaching in an online or hybrid environment** - **Understanding of competencies required for specific courses** - **Excellence in teaching and facilitating the learning process for students** - **Applying diverse instructional strategies, including use of technology, in response to learner demographics and learning styles** - **Excellent oral, written, and listening skills** |

| **Education** | - **Required: Master’s degree in appropriate area for courses to be taught** - **Preferred: Minimum of two years’ experience in the profession** - **Previous teaching experience at the high school or post-secondary level** - **Certification or license appropriate to specialty (e.g., NATA, ACSM, NSCA)** |
