## Description
**Position Summary:**
The HR Coordinator provides onboarding and auditing support to the Human Resources Department. This role is responsible for managing the onboarding and auditing process, serving as the primary point of contact with new hires, and ensuring new hire compliance.
**Position Responsibilities:**
- Manage and perform onboarding tasks for all new employees.
- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for all Florida and New Jersey new hires, ensuring a seamless experience from pre-onboarding to the first 30 days of hire.
- Work directly with new hires to complete all onboarding requirements, new hire checklists, compliance training, employment verification, and I9 processing.
- Collaborate with various departments to prepare necessary materials, equipment, and resources for the new employee, working with facility leadership to set-up computer access, KIPU, Salesforce, CTM and/or any other equipment requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees, addressing questions and concerns to facilitate a smooth transition to the facility.
- Ensure that all onboarding processes comply with legal and organizational requirements, to include state and regulatory paperwork and training documentation.
- Work with the facility assigned departmental trainer to collect departmental record of training for employee’s personnel file.
- Audits HR files in Paycom and HR drive (Paycom system)
- Assist with additional HR duties as requested.
- Demonstrates competence in one or more of the following areas:
- Establishing rapport, systematically gathering assessment data, evaluating readiness for treatment and change, and applying accepted diagnostic criteria for substance use disorders.
- Screening for psychoactive substance toxicity, intoxication, and withdrawal symptoms.
- Screening for co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Supports the organization’s efforts to comply with National Patient Safety Goals related to:
- Infection prevention
- Suicide risk assessment
- Patient identification
- Medication reconciliation
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
