#### **Job Description**

We are looking for a bartender to join our team! This individual will be responsible for taking orders, making drinks, and keeping the bar area cleaned. The bartender will be an outgoing individual with a desire to ensure customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities (not limited to):**

• Have a friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to interact with many different types of customers.
• Present drink menus to guests and make recommendations.
• Have an understanding of food safety and preparation skills.
• Ensure the bar is stocked daily with appropriate supplies and ingredients.
• Work alongside other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
• Issue bills, accept payments, handle cash and credit cards.
• Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
• Communicate with the food and beverage department management and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies equipment, safety problems, etc.

## Qualifications
**Qualifications:**

• Prior experience working as a bartender in a fast paced environment
• Hands-on experience working with a point of sale system and handling cash.
• Excellent people skills and a customer-oriented attitude
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must obtain TIPS certification
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English to understand instructions, safety rules, and communicate with guests.
• Work schedules will include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
