## Nova Academy Therapist

**Job Description:** The Nova Academy Therapist works alongside the Teachers, Teacher’s Aide and CADT Manager to ensure mental health services are available to Nova Academy clients without barriers. **This position will be working Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM.**

**What you’ll be doing:**

• Perform individual, group, and/or family mental health counseling services in a day treatment program.
• Perform crisis intervention and resolution as necessary.
• Perform assessments, intakes, transfers and discharges for clients.
• Manage client caseloads, follow up with clients and guardians.
• Monitor clients' progress toward goals.
• Document information per standards in electronic client chart, i.e. treatment plans, progress notes, referrals, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide CADT Manager with updates pertaining to clients and their respective statuses.
• Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

## Qualifications
**What we’re looking for:**

• Master’s in social work, counseling, psychology or related field with an internship/practicum
• Prefer experience with children/adolescents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills to include timeframe management
