**About the Opportunity:**

Chelsea Piers seeks positive and motivated coaches to work in our Ninja and Parkour departments. Candidates should enjoy working with children of all ages and have experience teaching ninja programs, parkour, and/or gymnastics to children between the ages of 1 - 16 years:

**Responsibilities:**

  • Enthusiastically engage with children
  • Ensure a safe and fun learning environment
  • Communicate clearly with staff and children
  • Create and/or follow lesson plans that fit within the program curriculum
  • Remain professional and courteous
  • Work in a team environment and have a positive attitude

## Qualifications

**About You:**

You are dependable, energetic, and passionate about ninja and parkour and working with children. You have experience teaching ninja programs, parkour, and/or gymnastics to children between the ages of 1 - 16 years.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of more
  • Ability to stand or move for multiple hours
  • Ability to see and hear athletes clearly in a busy environment
  • USA Gymnastics Safety Certification & Safe Sport Certification (may complete within the first month of employment)
  • Rock climbing experience, a plus
