| Position Purpose |

| The Middle School (MS) Boys Youth Minister serves as a Christ-centered leader, mentor, advisor, and spiritual guide to the students, staff, and families of Liberty Christian School. This individual works collaboratively with the MS Principals to support and advance the vision and values of the Warrior Way. The Youth Minister’s primary focus is ministering to and discipling Middle School male students while actively serving as a member of the Spiritual Life Department. |

| Essential Functions |

| - Represent Christ as a minister of the Gospel through both personal conduct and professional responsibilities. - Assist the MS Principals in meeting the needs of the Liberty Christian School community. - Provide spiritual leadership for MS retreats, mission trips, mentoring programs, school-wide mission days, chapels, and Spiritual Emphasis Weeks. - Provide administrative leadership for MS retreats, trips, and chapels, including vision casting, training, communicating expectations, and ensuring accountability. - Maintain regular office hours to meet with, mentor, disciple, and support students. - Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students regarding upcoming programs and events. - Serve as ministry support to MS Administration following student discipline situations by providing encouragement and spiritual guidance to students and parents. - Collaborate with the Spiritual Life Department to support Lower School, Middle School, Middle School, and campus-wide ministry programming. - Provide spiritual encouragement and guidance to students in accordance with the policies and expectations outlined in the Faculty/Staff Handbook. - Report student concerns in accordance with the Student Protection Program. - Work closely with the MS Principals, Bible Department Chair, and Spiritual Life Coordinator to develop, implement, and oversee Biblical integration within the MS curriculum and culture. - Serve as an ambassador for the integration and promotion of the Warrior Way throughout the MS communities. - Engage daily with students during snack periods, lunch, mentoring sessions, before and after school, and at selected extracurricular activities. - Adhere to all Student Protection Program (SPP) training requirements, policies, and procedures. - Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, recognizing that duties may evolve to meet the needs of the school. |

| Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |

| - Demonstrated ability to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and mentorship to students. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage students, parents, faculty, and staff. - Strong organizational, administrative, and event-planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through. - Ability to lead and coordinate retreats, mission trips, chapels, mentoring programs, and student service opportunities. - Ability to work collaboratively with administration, faculty, staff, and the Spiritual Life Department to support school-wide initiatives. - Knowledge and understanding of Biblical integration within an educational environment. - Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment in sensitive situations involving students and families. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, encourage, and hold students accountable in a Christ-centered manner. - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to changing priorities and school needs. - Proficiency in standard office technology, communication platforms, and organizational software. |

| Education and Experience |

| - Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Ministry, Theology, Biblical Studies, Christian Education, or a related field preferred. - Previous experience in student ministry, Christian education, pastoral leadership, or a related field preferred. - Experience working with middle school and Middle school students strongly preferred. - Demonstrated experience planning and leading retreats, mission trips, chapels, and student programming preferred. - Active involvement in a local church community required. - A strong and growing Christian faith consistent with the mission and values of Liberty Christian School required. |
