Minor Volunteer

## Description

**PRIMARY FUNCTION:**

Under the direct supervision and guidance (direct line of sight) of an adult (18 years or older) minor volunteer, implements activities with youth ages 5 -12 years old, in program areas of Education and Career Development, The Arts, Sports Fitness & Recreation, Health & Life Skills, Character & Leadership or Specialized Initiatives.

## Qualifications

**SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:**

• 16 -17 years old
• Good communication/listening skills
• Ability to mentor and motivate Club members
• Patience

**Other Requirements:**

• Acceptable background check (parent/guardian consent to authorize background check)
• Successfully completion New Employee Orientation & all training requirements
• Minor Volunteer will not work independent from the direct supervision (visual proximity) of an adult staff member (staff member 18 years or older)
