Electrical Assembler

## Description

Electrical Assemblers are responsible for assembly, installation, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on the fire apparatuses. Electrical Assemblers will perform the following.

• Build wiring harnesses and junction boxes
• Install and interconnect electrical devices
• Interpret drawings
• Program, set up, test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair simple electrical components and systems
• Modify sheet metal to allow for additional component installation
• Inspect mechanical assemblies to verify the fitting of electrical assemblies
• Other duties as assigned

## Qualifications

Electrical Assemblers should have thorough knowledge of schematics, prints, and heavy duty automotive electrical systems. Previous experience working with 12 volt electrical assembly is preferred.
