## Description
**Job Purpose:**

• The Baker at Hugo's Central Bakery is responsible for executing all aspects of bakery production, ensuring high-quality baked goods are consistently produced. This role requires proficiency in mixing, operating bakery equipment, and oven work, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Oversee and execute the production of bakery items, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens, to ensure efficient and safe production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning work areas and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Follow recipes and instructions accurately to ensure consistency and quality of baked goods.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain a cohesive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
• Assist in inventory levels with ingredients.

## Qualifications
**Required Education:**

• A high school diploma or equivalent

**Preferred Education:**

• Specialized training or culinary education may be an advantage but is not always necessary for this role.

**Required Experience:**

• Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

**Preferred Experience:**

• Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not always required.

**Required Skills and Abilities:**

• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as bakery production demands.
