School Based Therapist

## Job Description

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time **School-Based Therapist**to add to our team of professionals. This position will work in our Child & Family Services Division and provide school-based assessments, therapy and other services to children and their families.

**$3,000 Sign-On BONUS offered for this position!!!**($1,500 after 90 days / $1,500 after 6 months of full-time employment)

***Please note that the candidate selected for this role may choose between a 10-month or 12-month position.******For 10-month employees, the work schedule aligns with the school calendar (August 1 – May 31). Employees are expected to return for the next school year.***

**WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?**

• This position is year-round.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy to children identified to be at-risk by their school.
• Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment services in a school setting.
• Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect patient progress and document treatment plans and goals.
• Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames.
• Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.
• Conduct consultation and education activities to community and professional groups as needed.
• Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools, and civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.

## Qualifications
**WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?**

• Applicants must have a Master's Degree AND have one of the following licenses: temp LSW, LSW, LCSW, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMHC-A, or LMHC. Preference given to fully licensed candidates.
• Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
• Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
