**Assistant Director – Early Childhood Education**

**Location: Lansdale, PA**

**Full-Time | Monday–Friday**

Play & Learn in Lansdale is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Director to join our experienced leadership team. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their early childhood education career while helping guide a high-quality program that families have trusted for over 35 years.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Support the Center Director in daily operations and staff supervision
• Ensure appropriate classroom staffing in accordance with DHS ratios; step into classrooms as needed
• Conduct tours and respond to parent inquiries
• Assist with day-to-day problem-solving and emergency response
• Communicate daily with families to build strong relationships
• Step into Director responsibilities as needed during absences or emergencies

*e are open to candidates who hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and are Level B on the PA Career Pathways if they are currently enrolled in additional coursework or willing to work toward Level C.*

## Qualifications

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• Ideal candidates will have at least 30 ECE credits and Level C on the PA Keys Career Pathways
• Experience working with young children and supervising staff
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
