**Title:** Armory Work Center Maintenance Manager II
**Clearance Type: Secret**

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
  • Conducts assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems.
  • Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations.
  • Manages the procurement, receipt and issue of all parts and generates repair parts usage reports to update the ELMS/DPAS database.
  • Provide direct supervisory oversight of arts and Maintenance Customer Service Representative.
  • Manages initial request, turn-in, and issue documents (DD Form 1149) of required ancillary gear to support team personnel and SEALS. Receives and coordinates the inventory and inspection of post-deployment return of all weapons accessories (ancillary) gear and help to determine the serviceability of received ancillary equipment for re-issue.
  • Travel as required CONUS and OCONUS for new equipment training, armory related conferences, and as assessment contact team member.

## Qualifications

  • Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
  • Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
  • 3+ years’ experience repairing small arms.
