## Description
**Position**: Lead Engineering Technician
**Location**: JEB Little Creek, VA
**Clearance level required:** Secret
**Responsibilities (including, but not limited):**

• Provide oversight and supervision of contractor engineering technicians, and assist with maintenance, troubleshooting and technical expertise on all projects to ensure all work meets required specifications.
• Provides overall technical oversight and supervision of maintenance.
• Assist with the installation and testing of advanced submarine technology.
• Assist with the evaluation of deficiencies and sustainability of submarine and submersible systems and components.
• Assist with rigging and handling evolutions in support of mission requirements.
• Provide project status and work updates as necessary.

## Qualifications
**Position Specific Knowledge and Requirements:**

• HS Diploma or GED plus six (6) years related experience or BA/BS and two (2) years related experience.
• Minimum six (6) years of technical experience, supply chain administration, and use of MS Office suite.
• Secret level Clearance
• Prior Military submersible technical and/or electrical experience preferred.
• Must complete all NSWG-8 IMD rigging and handling qualifications within 6 months.
