Paint Team Lead - Day Shift

## Description

The Paint Team Lead plays a key role in supporting quality, training, and operational excellence within the Pre-Finish Department. This role helps drive team performance by monitoring quality standards, supporting employee development, and maintaining operational consistency across daily production activities.

Success in this role requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and the ability to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm (overtime as business requires).

Starting Pay: $27.75/hr+

Key Responsibilities

• Review weekly quality control reports and take corrective action to address identified issues.
• Participate in weekly quality meetings and establish targeted goals to improve team performance and operational results.
• Attend Team Lead meetings to identify, communicate, and resolve operational issues throughout the shop.
• Document, review, and recommend improvements to new hire training procedures.
• Maintain full compliance with new hire onboarding schedules and training expectations.
• Coordinate and track cross-training initiatives to ensure operational coverage during absences and workflow fluctuations.
• Support team development and reinforce adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in a paint or stain department preferred.
