Quality Engineer II

## Description

• Maintain quality control system and documents, which may include but are not limited to: procedures, audits, controls, corrective actions, and calibrations
• Maintain control of procedural documents; write new procedures; revise existing procedures; ensure procedural compliance
• Conduct internal audits, document findings and follow up on corrective action
• Perform root cause analysis for internal issues and customer complaints; make recommendations for solutions
• Maintain records of quality issues, corrective action and general quality statistics; report on quality performance to management
• Inspect components and material; insure compliance with blueprint requirements
• Work with external venders to ensure quality standards are met; work with Purchasing and suppliers on material quality issues
• Work with customers on PPAP submittals
• Build control plans for our process
• Support our lab testing and calibrations
• Issue RMAs for customer concerns/product returns
• Back up to Quality manager for all Quality functions

## Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Three (3) or more years experience a quality position; manufacturing preferred
• Proficiency with measuring tools: micrometers, calibers, comparator, gages, etc.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
• Drive issues to closure
