**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are looking for a Preschool Teacher! You will be responsible for providing direct supervision and care for a group of children through a caring, positive, authoritative relationship. Makes children feel welcome and comfortable. Assists in the planning and implementing of scheduled period(s) of activities, which are developmentally appropriate and ensures the safety and well being of the children as well as providing a model of quality.

**ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:**

• Prepares and maintain lessons for classroom instruction.
• Maintains attendance records for a designated group of children and adheres to regular work and activity schedules. Assists in food preparation and distribution.
• Establishes and Maintains control and safety of an assigned group of children.
• Serves as an effective role model for the children by assisting children in a way that develops the child’s role and initiative and Interacts in ways that help them learn.
• Assists children with feeding and bathroom needs i.e., changing diapers, helping child to restroom, etc

## Qualifications
**SCREENING REQUIREMENTS:**
CDA, Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree required.
