### Job Description
The General Teacher is a **fully professional role** responsible for delivering a robust and thoughtful curriculum, ensuring student learning and emotional growth in a core content area (e.g., Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, General Studies).
This position includes
- **Instruction:** Planning and delivering engaging, student-centered lessons that reflect a commitment to progressive teaching methods and content mastery.
- **Curriculum Development:** Individually and collectively contributing to the **creation and refinement of the curriculum**.
