**THERAPY 2000**, a home-based provider of pediatric **Speech**, **Occupational**, and **Physical Therapy** services, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated **Speech-Language Pathologist – Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY)** to join our growing pediatric therapy teamto serve families in **either Southeast, Northeast or North Central parts of San Antonio, TX and surrounding areas.** This **full-time or** **part-time**position is based in our **San Antonio**division.This position offers a supportive environment where new graduates can complete their Clinical Fellowship under the guidance of experienced supervisors while gaining hands-on experience working with children in school-based settings.

**What you’ll do: -**Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.

-Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.

-Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.

-Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.

-Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.

-Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.

-Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.

-Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.

-Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.

## Qualifications

**What you’ll need:**

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Eligible for **Texas state licensure** as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Eligible for **Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)**
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with pediatric populations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • **Bonus points for:**
  • **-**3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
  • -Experience in a home-health setting.
  • -Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, etc.)
  • -Bilingual (English/Spanish)
