Nursing CNA (PRN)

## Description

The Nursing Team at Messiah Lifeways is seeking dedicated PRN Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

Our PRN CNA team members must commit to a minimum of 32 hours per month with 16 of those hours being worked on weekends - during their assigned shift. Outside of the minimum requirement, PRN CNAs can pick up additional hours on other shifts (if available).

***Available PRN Schedules:***

• **Day Shift**
• **7:00 AM - 3:00 PM**
• **Night Shift**
• **11:00 PM - 7:00 AM**

A CNA at Messiah Lifeways provides compassionate, hands-on care to residents, supporting their daily living needs including personal hygiene, mobility, nutrition, and overall comfort. Care is delivered in alignment with individualized care plans and Messiah Lifeways’ commitment to dignity and respect.

**What You’ll Do**

• Assist residents with meals, nourishment, and feeding
• Support mobility needs, including transfers with mechanical or staff assistance
• Escort or transport residents to activities, appointments, therapy, and other destinations
• Observe and document resident conditions, behaviors, and appetite; report changes to nursing staff
• Use and maintain equipment and supplies responsibly and cost-effectively

**What You’ll Bring**

• CNA Certification (required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• One year of long-term care experience (preferred, not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort with technology: Microsoft Office, POC, Electronic Health Records
• Ability to stay organized, accurate, and focused in a fast-paced environment
