### What You'll Do

🩺 Perform nursing assessments and intake screenings

💊 Administer medications and treatments as ordered

📋 Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately

🤝 Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and correctional staff

🚑 Respond to urgent and emergency medical situations

📚 Maintain accurate electronic medical records

❤️ Provide patient education and promote wellness

🔒 Help ensure a safe, respectful, and compassionate healthcare environment

## Qualifications

### Qualifications

✔ Current, unrestricted South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

✔ **Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required**

✔ Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)

✔ Excellent assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

✔ Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary healthcare team

✔ Previous experience in correctional healthcare, emergency nursing, medical surgical, behavioral health, or long term care is preferred but not required
