We are looking for an experienced and motivated activity leader to join our growing team in Williamsville, NY.

**Activities leader position details:**

We are hiring for a Regular Part Time, 20 hours per week position. The scheduled hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am - 3pm, and every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) 9am - 3pm.

**Activities leader job duties include:**

• Works with residents of the health center including skilled nursing and assisted living.
• Participates in community planning related to the interests of the residents and their needs.
• Coordinates transportation for trips/outings when necessary.
• Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the community.
• Participates in resident/group council meetings when/if requested and provides support service to such councils.
• Supervises programs as necessary.
• Encourages residents to participate in program.

## Qualifications
**Activities leader qualifications:**

• Experience in organizing, planning, promoting and directing cultural arts activities is preferred.
• Experience working with a geriatric population is preferred.
