We are looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team in Buffalo, NY.

**Maintenance assistant position details:**

This is a Full Time, 37.5 hours/week position. The shift for this position include 7am - 3pm and 10am - 6pm. Weekend and alternating holiday availability is required.

**Maintenance assistant job duties include:**

• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Monitor buildings and grounds to ensure they are neat and possess a safe environment.
• Assist in preventative maintenance of the building.
• Maintain the emergency action plans.
• Complete snow removal and salting of all walkways and parking areas as needed.
• Perform landscaping of garden beds and grass areas as needed, including cutting, weeding, and watering.
• Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents as needed.
• Provide courteous guest service.

## Qualifications
**Maintenance assistant qualifications:**

• Must have basic maintenance knowledge including painting, plumbing, etc.
• Must have one year of maintenance related employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
