Early Head Start Teacher

## Description

The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for a classroom of children 0-3 years of age. Works collaboratively with a partner teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom with a total of 6-8 children. Collaborates with families and colleagues to achieve meaningful progress of each child along their own unique developmental path and toward school readiness goals. This is an on-site position, employed by one of Greater Louisville Head Start's childcare centers.

## Qualifications

• **Required:** High school diploma or equivalent, with Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA).
• **Preferred:** Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on infant & toddler development
