## Route Sales Supervisor – Chicagoland Area
Chicago Baking Company is looking for a results-driven **Route Sales Supervisor** to lead our Chicagoland sales team. In this role, you'll drive sales growth, strengthen customer relationships, develop high-performing team members, and improve operational performance across your assigned territory. You'll partner with leadership to execute strategic sales initiatives while ensuring exceptional customer service and team success.
### What You'll Do
- Build, strengthen, and grow relationships with national, regional, and local customers.
- Lead, coach, and develop Route Sales Managers and Store Merchandisers to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.
- Execute company sales strategies and help develop sales plans that drive profitable growth.
- Use proprietary technology to manage routes, monitor performance, and improve sales execution.
- Lead and inspire the local sales management team while fostering collaboration, accountability, and engagement.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and alignment with company goals.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer service.
- Communicate market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to senior leadership.
- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and recognize employee achievements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, service, and overall business performance.

## Qualifications
## What You'll Bring
We're looking for a motivated leader who brings the experience and skills to drive sales, develop teams, and build strong customer partnerships.
### Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive leadership experience in the **CPG** (Consumer Packaged Goods) or **DSD** (Direct Store Delivery) industry.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proven ability to develop, grow, and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrated success leading sales initiatives, improving operational performance, and delivering business results.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
### Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
