As a Production Floater, you'll operate and monitor production equipment, keep machines running efficiently, and help produce safe, high-quality bakery products. You'll play an important role in maintaining our food safety, product quality, and workplace safety standards every day.

### Schedule

Our bakery operates **24 hours a day, six days a week**, with **Fridays off**. New team members must be flexible with shift assignments until they qualify for an open position or earn a preferred shift through seniority.

Most employees work **8- to 12-hour shifts** and are scheduled for **at least 40 hours per week**, with additional overtime available.

## Requirements

### Physical Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to

• Lift and stack materials weighing up to **25 pounds overhead** on a repetitive basis.
• Push and pull heavy pan carts throughout the bakery.
• Lift ingredient bags and other materials weighing up to **50 pounds**.
• Perform physical tasks throughout your shift in a fast-paced production environment.
• Work comfortably in both **hot and cold conditions**, including warmer production areas during the summer months.

### Employment Requirements

• Successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including a **background check** and **drug screen**.
• Communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding) to support workplace safety and team communication.
• Complete a **60-day probationary period**, during which your performance, attendance, and overall job performance will be evaluated.
• Maintain **perfect attendance throughout the 60-day probationary period**, as attendance is a critical requirement for successful completion of probation.
