For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our expanded team in **Westchester County**. This unique position will involve travel between behavioral health locations within White Plains and Valhalla, providing academic support to school-age K-12 patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

Position entails a 40-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm. ## Qualifications

• B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
• New York State Teaching Certification
• Comfortable working within a pediatric and adolescent population
• Flexibility with daily location, including same day call outs
• Ability to travel, most sites are within a 30-45 minute drive
• Reliable Transportation
