Senior Subject Matter Expert – Payments

Join Shine, a leading European fintech unicorn on a mission to simplify financial administration for entrepreneurs and small business owners. As a Senior Subject Matter Expert for Payments, you will be the internal authority on payment rails, risks, and regulatory compliance. You will support various teams in interpreting scheme requirements, manage strategic providers, perform gap analyses on upcoming regulations, and contribute to strategic input and internal enablement. This role is based in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, or Copenhagen.

• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for all SEPA payment rails, international payment methods, and card scheme flows, providing deep knowledge of risk, flows, and scheme rules.
• Hold strategic providers accountable for the service they provide, including SLA management, incident follow-up, and negotiation of new features/contracts/pricing.
• Perform gap analyses on upcoming regulations and their impact on Shine's payment infrastructure, and act as a critical input into new market or product assessments.
