About The Role

Join Troostwijk Auctions, part of TBAuctions, as a Marketing Analyst. This role is not just about reporting; it's about diving deep into bidder and seller data, understanding the full customer journey, and guiding our marketing team towards smarter decisions. You'll be hands-on with data tracking, event instrumentation, and attribution modeling, while also translating this information into clear, actionable direction for the business. You'll be the analytical engine of our marketing team, conducting deep-dive analyses on bidder and seller behavior, and providing objective, quantitatively grounded advice on market opportunities and competitive threats.

  • Own the end-to-end measurement of marketing performance, translating data into concrete recommendations on channel mix, budget allocation, audience segmentation, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Act as the bridge between the marketing team and technical stakeholders, translating business questions into analytical frameworks and technical requirements.
  • Proactively surface insights and recommendations, collaborating closely with the TBA data team to ensure data and infrastructure are in place for insights and reports.
  • Proficiency and comfort working with ad platform data (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads)
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytics role with a clear focus on marketing performance — B2B or marketplace experience is a strong plus
  • Technical confidence to work directly with data pipelines, define tracking specifications, and QA instrumentation alongside engineering teams
  • Hands-on experience with Segment (or a comparable CDP/event tracking platform) and a solid understanding of how event data is structured and used
  • Deep familiarity with marketing analytics concepts: attribution, multi-touch modelling, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, customer segmentation, and ROI measurement
  • Must have SQL, Python skills; nice to have experience with BI tools such as Power BI
  • A proactive, commercial mindset: you treat data as a means to make better decisions, not an end in itself
  • Excellent communication skills - you can explain a complex model to a non-technical marketer and a technical spec to a developer
  • Don’t tick every box? Apply anyway. At Troostwijk Auctions, we value eagerness to learn and grow above a perfect checklist
  • Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages are a plus
